Our Story
Niños de Guatemala
Niños de Guatemala was founded after a group of young visitors from the Netherlands was struck by the need for more extraordinary support services for families in Guatemala. Their immersion in the community sparked NDG.
We are an organization committed to educational transformation. Our goal is to provide equitable access to quality education, empowering students and shaping the leaders of tomorrow.

What We Do
From the start, we recognized the vital role of nutritional support in enhancing academic performance. We offer balanced daily meals prepared and served by volunteer mothers during school hours. Annually, we serve over 100,000 warm meals to our 530+ students across three schools.
Holistic education integrates emotional, social, ethical, and academic needs, fostering a positive learning environment. Our approach includes access to on-site psychologists and social workers, along with a parent school that enhances family dynamics.
To complement our students’ education, we offer a vocational hospitality certification program for high school graduates. In partnership with top 5-star hotels in Antigua Guatemala, students receive a year of training in industry concepts and hands-on skills. This prepares them for careers in the hospitality industry, which employs over 80% of Antigua Guatemala’s workforce.
